Disturbing photo on Epstein’s desk ‘shows incapacitated young girl passed out on couch’ as Democrats receive 95,000 more images

A framed photograph found on Jeffrey Epstein's desk has swirled speculation online, with suggestions that it appears to show an incapacitated young girl passed out on a sofa.

The image was one of 19 photos released by Democrat lawmakers on Friday, which also included pictures of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Bill Clinton and US President Donald Trump.

However, the images released publicly do not implicate any of the individuals in the disgraced financier's crimes.

The Democrats selectively released the images from the 95,000 they had received from Epstein's estate.

One of the released images shows Epstein meeting political strategist Steve Bannon at his Manhattan home.

Mr Bannon reportedly worked with Epstein between 2018 and 2019, providing media coaching and advice on improving his public image.

In the photo, a framed picture on Epstein’s desk appears to show a person lying face down.

A black box has been edited over the individual’s face to protect their identity.

The contents of the photograph have not been independently verified, but it has prompted social media users to call it “vile” and “incredibly disturbing".

Two additional photos can be seen on Epstein’s desk, both obscured with black boxes to protect the identities of those pictured.

One, positioned in a frame at the desk’s left corner, appears to show a person, possibly a child, resting their head on Epstein’s shoulder.

The other photo, placed on a plate near Epstein’s left hand, is unclear, though the black box indicates it features someone whose identity is being kept private.

Democrat congressman Robert Garcia, who sits on the House Oversight Committee said: "These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world.

"We will not rest until the American people get the truth."

White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson hit back on Friday, saying: "Once again, House Democrats are selectively releasing cherry-picked photos with random redactions to try and create a false narrative.

"Here’s the reality: Democrats like Stacey Plaskett and Hakeem Jeffries were soliciting money and meetings from Epstein after he was a convicted sex offender.

"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked and the Trump Administration has done more for Epstein’s victims than Democrats ever have by repeatedly calling for transparency, releasing thousands of pages of documents, and calling for further investigations into Epstein’s Democrat friends.

"It’s time for the media to stop regurgitating Democrat talking points and start asking Democrats why they wanted to hang around Epstein after he was convicted."

Reacting to the release of the images, Mr Trump told reporters in the Oval Office: "I haven't seen it, but everybody knew this man, he was all over Palm Beach.

"He has photos with everybody. He has hundreds and hundreds of people that have photos with him. That's no big deal, I know nothing about it."
