WATCH: Zarah Sultana SUSPENDED by Speaker after calling Keir Starmer a 'barefaced liar'
Your Party MP Zarah Sultana has been suspended by Speaker Lindsay Hoyle after accusing Sir Keir Starmer of being a "barefaced liar".
Ms Sultana told MPs: "He [Keir Starmer] defended him and now he claims to know nothing.
"He is gaslighting the nation, so let's call this out for what it is. The Prime Minister is a barefaced liar."
The Speaker interjected Ms Sultana, declaring: "Leave now! I'll name you otherwise. I'd go now if I were you."
Refusing the leave, the Speaker then suspended the MP, telling the House: "It's my duty to carry out and control this house. I name Zarah Sultana to be suspended from the House."
